This extension collects nothing. It has no server, no account, and makes no network requests.
Everything it does happens locally in your browser, on your own machine.
What data the extension handles
Your newsletter. The newsletter you design — text, styling, and any images you upload — is saved in your browser's local storage so your work is still there when you come back. It stays on your computer. It is never uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to.
Your Gmail compose window. When you click "Insert into Gmail," the extension pastes the newsletter into the draft you started from. To do that it reads the compose window's editable body element and the location of the Send button. It does not read your inbox, your message list, the contents of other messages, your contacts, or your account information.
The clipboard. The finished newsletter is copied to your clipboard so it can be pasted into the draft. The extension never inspects what is already on your clipboard and never reads it for any other purpose.
A tab pairing. So the finished email goes back to the right compose window, the extension remembers which designer tab was opened from which Gmail tab. This is two numeric tab IDs held in session storage, cleared when you close the browser.
What the extension does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data
- It does not use analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising of any kind
- It does not sell or share any data with third parties, because it has none
- It does not use Gmail APIs or OAuth — it never authenticates as you
- It makes no network requests at all
